FOUR GUYS and a LADY, ALL FROM DIFFERENT WALKS OF LIFE EACH WITH OVER 20 YEARS PLAYING MUSIC CAME TOGETHER TO PAY TRIBUTE TO THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME, THE BEATLES, AS WELL AS MANY SONGS THEY WROTE AND GAVE TO OTHER BANDS, THEIR "FRIENDS" WHO ENDED UP RECORDING THOSE SONGS TO BECOME FAMOUS ARTISTS AS WELL, THUS THE NAME, "BEATOGETHER WITH FRIENDS".

As Sir Paul McCartney said, "in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you MAKE."

"BeaTogether with Friends",  (BtWF) is a brand new show review concept that not only plays the music live including all the vocal harmonies, but the show includes the back stories of the songs performed. Again, this is "NOT" just another Beatles tribute band. BtWF do not wear wigs, dress, act, or look anything like the Beatles in any way. The focus is on the music and the remarkable stories behind the Beatles and their "Friends", who also loved their music, which is as relevant today as back then.

BtWF perform live many songs even the Beatles could not perform outside Abbey Road Studios then, but thanks to new technologies, BtWF is able to deliver to the audience live on stage those amazing sounds of the Beatles, virtually impossible for even the Beatles to produce live on stage back then. Thus all the music, instrumentation and vocals are all done live by "Beatogether" for their friends in the audience.

BtWF also perform songs of many of the "FRIENDS" of the Beatles, bands who were influenced, inspired, and even recorded songs written by the Beatles. The Beatles even gave songs to some of their “friends”, and BtWF tells the story why and perform each song live as the original artists did all those years ago.

"FRIENDS" of the Beatles included the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, Gerry and the Pacemakers, the Byrds, Peter and Gordon, Dylan, Badfinger and many others, each influenced, inspired, and benefited from the Beatles great songwriting skills.

For example, the Rolling Stones in the early 60’s were struggling to get a record deal because they were doing mostly cover songs and R&B, popular but not mainstream and commercial enough for the record companies back then. So John Lennon wrote a song, “I Wanna Be Your Man” and gave it to Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. The rest is history. THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS DO.

Another example is when Paul wrote the song, “World Without Love” at 16 years old and gave it to his "friend" Peter Asher, who formed a band called 'Peter and Gordon', and that song put them on the map in the 60's. It just so happened that Paul was dating Peter's sister, Jane Asher. Again the rest is history.

Then George Harrison produced the band "Badfinger" after the Beatles broke up and Paul wrote another song and gave it to them, “Come and Get It”, to help them in an effort to produce a hit record. There are many back stories like this on how they treated their friends. These are but a few of the kinds of things BtWF share with the audience.

In this way, BtWF adds an element to their show, they call, “Info-tainment”, to engage the audience to allow them to follow along learning a little more about the Beatles and their "friends".

.

In addition, the show has videos of the time period when the Beatles and their Friends lived and performed.

The show opens with two outstanding songs from the Beatles #1 Album, Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band, with "Sgt. Pepper" going right into "With a Little Help From My Friends", then right into "Nowhere Man", all to share their musical diversity and vocal harmonies of the "BtWF" band. After the intro, BtWF alternates between a Beatles song and a "Friend" of the Beatles song, the other bands, all the while sharing the back stories of each song.

The legend of the Beatles and the influence they have had on their "Friends" then, continues to the present. This is a show for both youths and adults alike to enjoy together with friends and neighbors.

"Beatogether with Friends" invites you to join them on a musical history tour down memory lane to discover and rediscover aspects of the music and character of the Beatles often overlooked.
